What is HArmonyCa?
The ageing process causes our skin to change in several ways. Firstly, we lose elasticity and the fat pads in our face start to shrink. This leads to skin that looks thinner or more fragile. It also causes a sagging of the skin because of a loss of volume in our face.
Secondly, we start to lose collagen. This is why you notice fine lines and wrinkles appearing on your face and other areas of your body such as your neckline and hands.
So how does HArmonyCa help with this? HArmonyCa is a hybrid injectable treatment that combines hyaluronic acid with Calcium Hydroxylapatite. But how do both of these elements lead to more youthful looking skin? We break it down below:
Hyaluronic acid – helps to give your skin a boost of hydration. It promotes healthier looking and more supple skin. It also helps to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Calcium Hydroxylapatite – helps to smooth out deeper and fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also great for helping to add or restore volume in your face.
When you join these two components together in HArmonyCa, you see an initial skin lifting and skin tightening effect. Then over time, the calcium starts to bio-stimulate your own collagen production. This helps to improve your skin texture and to continue to lift your skin over a three-nine month period.

How does the treatment work?
As with any dermal filler treatment, HArmonyCa involves an injection in the side (lateral parts) of your face. Some patients do say they feel a slight sensitivity during the treatment. To reduce this, we do apply a numbing to the injection area.
Once you have had your treatment, you will see a dual action response. Firstly, the hyaluronic Acid part will act as the filler offering immediate skin lifting effects. Then over time, the Calcium Hydroxylapatite stimulates your own collagen production. This is achieved through activating fibroblasts. These are a type of skin cell that release collagen proteins just below the surface of the skin.
Each person responds differently to treatment. However, new collagen can start to form in as little as one week after your treatment session. You should continue to see results in the first three and six months. With some patients still seeing results up to nine months after their treatment.
With HArmonyCa treatment in London, you will be able to restore lost volume in your face, while seeing skin that is tighter and younger looking.
