Forehead Lines
Forehead lines present themselves as either light, moderate or deep wrinkles that run horizontally across the head. Whilst forehead lines can be inherited genetically, they generally appear with age when the skin starts to lose its elasticity and ability to “bounce back” from strain.
This condition is primarily caused by the way we use the facial muscles, and in particular repeated facial expressions that crease the skin, or the raising of the eyebrows, especially when the eyelids are heavy as this causes increased strain on the facial muscles.
We can treat them very effectively and quickly, using an application of wrinkle relaxing injections on the muscles that are causing the appearance of the wrinkles. Wrinkle relaxing injections are able to block the receptors resulting in smoothing of the skin on the face and head giving a more relaxed and youthful look.
