Double Chin
A double chin is usually the result of excess submental fat that has built up under the skin beneath the chin. Weight gain or certain lifestyle choices, like diet, lack of exercise and alcohol consumption can all contribute to the development of this condition, as well as genetically inheriting a weaker jawline, causing the skin and any fat in that area to be more visible.
It can also be an age related concern, as lost laxity and firmness causes sagging of the skin. Many people are affected by this common condition, leading to the experiencing of feelings of lost self confidence as they consider the appearance of a double chin to be unattractive.
At Time Clinic, we recommend fat dissolving injections as a treatment for this condition. Fat dissolving injections eliminate the fat cells, reducing unwanted fat combined with the use of dermal fillers which endeavour to improve the contouring if the jawline.
Each patient receives a unique treatment plan at Time clinic according to their own individual concern and personal goals.
Patients may not have this concern eradicated completely, but should expect to see a huge improvement in the reduction of their double chin, restoring lost confidence.
