Laughter Lines
The pseudonym “laughter lines” is a term that has been derived to describe lines that are characterised by the areas of the face that crease on smiling, or laughing. These can include crows feet (around the eyes), nasolabial folds (from nose to mouth) or marionette lines (from mouth to chin).
While laughter lines are often seen to be beautiful in the gracefully ageing person, they can also cause people to feel they look older than they really are. Where laughter lines are a cause for concern due to them being aesthetically unappealing, we can look to treat these by adding volume to the affected areas, and by rejuvenating the surface of the skin to give a more youthful, refreshed look minimising the more fine lines and wrinkles.
