Glowing skin is always in, but it’s not always easy to achieve! During the summer months, there’s an increased risk of hyperpigmentation, while you may also experience dry, flaky skin.
Here at Time Clinic, our two favourite treatments that enhance skin quality and give you your glow back are Profhilo and Secret RF. Both offer amazing results, but work in different ways. This got us thinking, what happens if we combine the two?
Well, the results are seriously impressive! Expect smoother, more even, lifted and radiant skin, which gets better over time!
So, how do they work?
Profhilo is injected just under the skin in 10 points across your face, while it can also be used on the neck, hands, decolletage and arms too. It contains hyaluronic acid (HA), which you may know as a key ingredient in dermal fillers.
Not to be mixed up though, the HA in Profhilo works in a different way to that in fillers. Instead of volumising or contouring your skin, Profhilo’s HA is like a super-charged mosituriser that attracts water to your treatment area to tackle dryness and poor skin texture. So many of my patients comment on their gorgeous dewy skin just a day after treatment!
Profhilo also boosts collagen and elastin production, meaning over time you’ll see an improvement in fine lines and crepiness. Two treatments, four weeks apart, are recommended, so you get ongoing transformative results.
Secret RF is our newest treatment here at Time Clinic and my current favourite – I love doing it and am seeing fab results!
We use a device with tiny needles attached to it, which creates a process known as micro-needling.
