It is most commonly used to promote enhanced skin rejuvenation, anti-ageing properties and treat hair loss. PRP has gained the name “Vampire Face Lift” or “Dracula Therapy™” due to it using your own blood as a stimulant in aiding regrowth of the cells in the affected area, along with stimulating the body’s own ability to heal itself, to repair and revive.

What is Dracula Therapy?

Dracula Therapy™ is a treatment that uses the platelet rich plasma from your blood as a growth factor on trated areas, It can help restore lost volume to the face. It makes it look plumper, erasing the appearance of lines and wrinkles and boosting the skin’s natural radiance. A small amount of blood taken from you is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma –  the substance that contains all the important proteins needed to repair skin. This plasma will then be injected back into the desired area using very fine needles, stimulating DNA repair. The effects of PRP or Dracula Therapy™ are vast – this is a versatile skin treatment with the plasma releasing growth factors. It can help heal scars and improve skin texture, stretch marks, wrinkles, hydrate dry, dull and lacklustre skin –  revitalising your look naturally using your own blood. And, it can be used in combination with other facial rejuvenation treatments like fillers.

Dracula Treatment Therapy for Hair Growth

As well as treating scars (including acne scars), fine lines and helping rejuvenate skin, Platelet Rich Plasma  can also be used to stimulate hair follicles encouraging regrowth to thinning and lost hair.

Our injectors at Time Clinic in Chigwell, Essex are highly skilled, and experienced in the practise of Dracula therapy PRP.

This is particularly important as PRP treatments consists of multiple injections into the affected area to gather blood for the centrifuge that is separated into clear serum, red blood cells and platelets and then skilled application technique of the plasma to release growth factors and deliver overall success, particularly when using PRP to treat hair loss.
